Central Heating

Radiant Floor Heat NJ
Unlike hot air systems that blow warm air into a room, radiant heat is a system that pumps heated water from a boiler through tubing laid in a pattern underneath the floor therefore radiating heat to the objects in the room.

Radiant floor heating doesn't stir up dust or allergens, and it cuts down on heat loss through infiltration.

What is a Central Heating System?

Trane Heating SpecialistCentral heating systems have a primary heating appliance, such as a furnace. All furnaces consist of four main components: 1) burners that deliver and burn fuel; 2) heat exchangers; 3) a blower; 4) a flue that acts as an exhaust for gaseous by-products.

How a Central Heating System Works

A gas forced-air heating system goes into action when the thermostat tells it that room temperature has dropped below a preset comfort level. The thermostat sends a low-voltage electric signal to a relay in the furnace, which signals a valve to open and deliver natural gas to the burners and for the blower to turn on. Combustion gases are generated by the burners in your furnace and passed over a heat exchanger. Air from your home blows across the heat exchanger to be warmed. It is then blown through a system of ducts to distribute around your home.

Indoor Air Technologies can offer a wide ranging Trane line of furnaces with AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) from 80-95%.
